Registration for our Fall 2026 is now open! Classes will begin August 2026 and slots are filling quickly!

The Lawson School of Music is excited to offer not only private lessons in piano, ukulele, guitar, voice, drama, and more, we are also thrilled to offer a variety of group classes! These classes include Little Notes (newborn to age 4.5),  Group Ukulele, Bucket Drumming, Musical Theater, Singing Starz (Group Beginner Voice), and more! Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are a great way for any student to learn and develop their skills in music. It is also a wonderful (and scientifically proven) way to develop the brain, relieve stress, help with math skills, spacial awareness and so much more! Its easy to see why this instrument is great for students of all ages and skill levels.


Tuition: Half hour weekly= $110-$120, 45 min weekly $170-$180, 60 min weekly (can be divided in to twice weekly-adults only options)= $220-$240 (price depends on instructor)

Vocal Coaching

Singing is one of the oldest forms of expression we have. People love to sing and what better way to develop your skills and confidence than through vocal coaching. In these one-on-one lessons, students work with their teacher to discuss current and future goals and work together to achieve them. Students are taught vocal and musical techniques as well as character and song study to elevate their performances. Classes offered to students 6 years through adult.


Tuition: Half hour weekly= $110-$120, 45 min weekly $170-$180, 60 min weekly (can be divided in to twice weekly-adults only option)= $220-$240 (price depends on instructor)

Singing Starz (Group Voice and Music Foundations Class)

This class focuses on the foundations of singing (notation, pitch matching, breath support and more) as well as acting on stage. This is a great class for beginners who want to develop these skills and eventually move on to private lessons or Musical Theater Class. We keep this class fairly small to ensure individual and group time, so spaces are limited. Ages 5-11 years old


Tuition: $85/month

Little Notes

The Lawson School of Music is proud to offer Little Notes to our youngest musicians and their families. Little notes is an early childhood education music and movement program for children from infants to 4.5 years old.


Our curricula offer children musical learning that involves every aspect of a child’s growth and development: language, motor skills, social skills, cognitive development, emotional growth, and musicality. A trusted Educator guides children and their caregivers through every musical and developmental milestone. Ages 0-4 are designed for both child and parent/guardian/loved one to attend together for bonding and development.


Tuition: $75/month

Guitar Lessons

Do you want to learn how to play the guitar? Ready to brush up past skills? If so, look no further. The Lawson School of Music offers beginner guitar lessons that focus on the foundations of music, tab and chord reading, and more! Each teacher works with the student (all ages welcome) to see what their specific goals and needs are.

Bucket Drumming

Learn how to read rhythmic notation and relieve a little stress all at once! This fun and energized class focuses on percussion and pre-rockband skills. Students learn various techniques for drumming, working as a team/ensemble, and learning how to make music together and on their own. Each student will receive their own bucket and drum sticks.

Musical Theater

Our Musical Theater Ensemble is a great way for students to get acquainted with performing on stage or to hone their developing craft! Our ensemble consists of students new to theater and those who are seasoned young performers. In the Spring of 2026, we performed 'Annie Jr' to nearly 1000 audience members collectively over 3 performances!  Past productions include  'Alice in Wonderland, JR', 'Seussical Jr.',  'The Sound of Music- Youth Edition', 'The Great Holiday Bake-off' and a 1940's Christmas Radio Broadcast.


This Fall, we will be working on 'Holly Jolly Jukebox' to perform Dec 6 at The PAC! Our Spring 2027 musical will be Matilda Jr with auditions in December of 2026.

Military and Family Discounts

The Lawson School of Music offers a 5% discount to active and retired military persons and their children. We also offer a 5% discount to siblings/families. Multiple discounts cannot be combined.

Private one-on-one lessons are scheduled individually based on student/teacher availability.
